Why You Should Give to the Mother Teresa Exhibition Hall

By Myra Daniels

If you believe in the humanitarian work done by Mother Teresa of Calcutta, you will want to see the life of Mother Teresa on paper, see photos of her friends and colleagues, and marvel at artifacts such as a lock of her hair, and the crucifix she carried for 80 years.

She was my role model of wanting to have just a “little bit”, and do whatever I could do to give back. Join me in whatever you can give to make her life live on for young people, and for people of all ages.

Myra is Moving

"You can't sell that side of the street if you live on this side of the street."

Upon careful consideration of her latest project - the Mother Teresa museum and performing arts space in Ave Maria - Myra Daniels has decided to move from her home in Naples to the new and upcoming community near Immokalee.

Secret 3: Surround Yourself with Teachers

By Myra Daniels

There is truth in the old Chinese proverb: “A single conversation with a wise man is better than ten years of study.” I still seek out people who know things I don’t know. As I’ve gotten older I’ve come to appreciate more and more how important this is, in fact. My “teachers” keep life stimulating, and an adventure.

Tell us about a teacher who made a difference in your life.

What is the Mother Teresa Exhibition Hall?

Ave Maria University will raise a curtain on a 1250-seat performing arts center, with adjoining space for a permanent Mother Teresa exhibition - the only venue of its kind in the United States.

Distinguished professors, talented students, and nationally renowned performers in theatre, opera, ballet, music will be drawn to the venue showcase their talents.

Plans were designed by renowned architect Gene Aubry, who did the Wortham Theater Center, Rothko Chapel and the Philharmonic Center for the Arts.

We hope that the Mother Teresa Exhibition Hall will be reality by Fall 2016 and we are still seeking funds to complete the project. For more information, contact Myra Daniels, campaign chair for this project.

Join us in making a dream come true.
